What attracted you to this program?
When it came to choosing an undergraduate degree I was torn between various schools and programs. What ultimately made my decision easy for me was the SASAH program. Its combination of professor mentorship and small classes attracted me and gave me reassurance during my transition from high school to a larger university such as 澳门六合彩开奖预测.
"It can be difficult to find professors who are invested in you and who are willing to take time to ensure your happiness and success. In my opinion, that is one of the most beneficial things SASAH can offer you during your time at 澳门六合彩开奖预测."
What are your thoughts about life as a SASAH student? What makes it unique?
During my time at 澳门六合彩开奖预测, being a SASAH student allowed me to be part of a close group of students with a shared passion for the arts. SASAH allowed me to find a community outside of my residence with like-minded classmates and friends.
How did your relationships with other SASAH students positively affect your experience at 澳门六合彩开奖预测 overall?
To this day, students from my SASAH cohort are some of my closest friends. The community the program builds is a supportive one and having that group alongside my other larger classes helped me feel more at home at 澳门六合彩开奖预测.
How has SASAH prepared you for the job market and/or graduate school?
I knew early on that I did not want to graduate and do another research-based degree. SASAH’s incorporation of an experiential learning course allowed me to gain experience and see if what I wanted to pursue after undergrad was in fact something I enjoyed. It was extremely valuable to gain work experience while completing a school credit. I went on to complete a postgraduate program in communications after gaining fundraising experience through SASAH. The experience allowed me to feel more confident going into my postgrad.
What lessons and skills contributed to your success after you graduated?
I went on to complete a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations and SASAH prepared me with a very strong communications background. Not only the ability to effectively communicate, but also the ability to build lasting relationships with both professors and classmates allowed me to succeed in my postgrad.
As an experienced graduate, do you have any advice for current SASAH students?
My advice for SASAH students would be to take advantage of the guidance and mentorship the professors offer. In undergrad, it can be difficult to find professors who are invested in you and who are willing to take time to ensure your happiness and success. In my opinion, that is one of the most beneficial things SASAH can offer you during your time at 澳门六合彩开奖预测.
